On Semi uses i2’s Supply Chain Planner to build a global master plan for production and distribution of their product. This model is somewhat high-level, i.e., the representation of the details of individual factories in the Supply Chain Model is simplified and limited. Specifically, flexibility of resources in the factories is ignored in the supply chain model.

The objective of this project was to align factory to global priorities by the implementation of a short-term model that was both aware of the details of the factor as well as its role in the global system.
